Well worth it if you're re-gripping your clubs, though I found the slot to receive the shaft a little narrow, but worked around this easily enough.

Essential and economical
A low cost item essential for effectively gripping shafts of clubs. Much better than clamping the neck of the club head to the work top. Having a Record vice, attached to a section of timber that was then clamped in the Workmate the shaft was raised clear of it and ti was possible to have a drip tray positioned under the grip area.

Excellent bit of kit
Fits the job perfectly on my B & D Workmate. Ensures the club (Mine are graphite) did not get damaged in the vice. Worth every penny I can see other uses around the D.I.Y world as well
